Merry Christmas

Only a few days late ;)

We had a wonderful holiday weekend...Henry had a blast opening his gifts but would have been perfectly content with wrapping paper for his gift :)

And a few pictures...

All dressed up for Christmas Eve.

Right before we left for Grammie's house.

Loving his new doggy.

Sitting up like a big boy!

Posing for me :)

Early Christmas morning.

The best present...ever.

Baby Ornaments

Henry has gottne the cutest ornaments over the last month or so...here are a few of my favorites.

Pictures taken with my new camera of course :)

From my best friend, Jenny.

From my mom.

From my mom for Henry's baptism.

& I had to throw in my favorite...from my 1st Christmas.

New Camera!!

I have been really, really wanting a new camera, a nice camera. Well after finally asking Ryan if I could get one, he actually said yes. So we headed to the store to buy my new baby :) We decided on a Nikon D3000, it is SO awesome!

Don't we look great together?!?!

And you know I couldn't just leave the strap as it was ;)

Before.

After :)

Oh Christmas Tree...

We finally got our Christmas tree up! We actually just had to carry it upstairs and add the ornaments since last year we just carried it downstairs still put together. :)

This year and probably from now on we will do a traditional tree with all of our childhood ornaments on it. We used to a color themed tree but I want Henry to be able to put his own ornaments on the tree. We also moved it up to the front room instead of the living room. I like it much better where it is this year!

& of course it was Sunday so we are once again in our Vikings gear!

View from the dining room.

Henry the elf, What's your favorite color??

We dressed little Henry up as a elf to see Santa...the outfit didn't come with a hat & every elf needs a hat so I had to quick make this one.

He looks so cute!!

Santa Baby

We took Henry to see Santa this weekend at our local ultrasound place (Bella Angel Imaging), they had Santa there for a few hours & parents got to come and take the pictures with their own cameras. Of course we jumped at the opportunity. Brenda, the owner, couldn't believe how big Henry was already (she did 3 ultrasounds for us).

Getting ready to see Santa.

My little drool baby.

He actually like him.

My sister took Henry to my parent's house & took this picture with my mom's stuffed Santa :)

Happy 4 Months, Henry!!

Henry is officially 4 months old. Holy smokes has time flown by!!

Henry...

~ now "fights" going to sleep & will sit and talk to me anytime I try to rock him.

~ can now balance with one hand while he is sitting.

~ reaches for the dogs & tries to pet them...really pulling their fur!

~ is no longer sleeping through the night as he is whining in his sleep just about every hour.

~ is eating big boy food...oatmeal cereal & assorted veggies.

~ somewhat recognizes his name.

At his doctor appt he weighed 16 lbs 12oz (85th percentile) & is 26.5 inches long (90th percentile). The doctor was shocked that he could sit up by himself already & could bear all his weight while standing. He said he is developmentallly a 6/7 month old :)

I Have Feet!!

I am excited to finally announce that Henry has found his feet! I have been waiting & waiting for this...and finally he found them after about a month of grabbing his thighs and knees.

He is just too cute :)

St. Nicholas Day

After Ryan & I got done running a few errands yesterday, we came home to this....

Inside was the very ornament I wanted to get for Henry (but I hadn't told anyone about it)

After asking around about who this little gift was from...I found out my mom had left it for Henry. She has decided that every year on St. Nicholas Day she will leave Henry a little ornament for him to put on the tree.

Now only if Ryan & I would get our tree set up... :)

Daycare.

Binky...check. Froggie...check. Seahorse...check. My little man is ready for his first day of daycare. Real, actual daycare.

We have been very fortunate to have my sister watch Henry 3 days a week & Ryan's sister watch him the other 2 days. Well Ryan just accepted a new job which is really awesome, except it is no longer possible for us to bring Henry to Ryan's sister's house. We found an awesome daycare lady who only has 2 other kids at her house.

Of course I was hysterical the entire way to work after dropping Henry off...& I'm sure Ryan didn't appreciate my call as he was heading to the airport for a work trip.

Thankfully for now...he is only going there 2 days a week. I will be a real mess when he has to go full time!

& he's on the move...

Well my little (big) boy is quite the trickster! & has proven that we can no longer set him up on the couch while we grab something from across the room.

One minute he is like this...

And literally 30 seconds later he is like this...

New Crib!

Henry's beautiful (& pretty spendy) crib was part of the recall last week for Storkcraft cribs. Instead of trying to go through the hassle of getting the parts to "fix" it we decided to just buy Henry a new one.

Henry hanging out in his temporary bed.

Here we go again...

Ryan "watching" Henry while I watched "Iron Chef" :)

Ta da! His new crib. I don't love it as much as his other one but it will do.
