Not too long ago my mom had mentioned that she had a cradle that my grandpa (who has since passed away) had made for her when I was born and that we could have it for little Henry. Well Ryan and I are in total "baby mode" now and I asked her about the cradle again to see if we could come by and get it out of the attic.
When we got over to my parent's house we found the beautiful cradle complete with the set of puppy receiving blankets I have been eyeing at Target.
This is by far my favorite baby item that we have or ever will get. It means so much to me to have something that not only my grandpa made with his own hands but also that me and my 2 sisters slept in this cradle when we were wee ones :)

That is so sweet about the cradle. We're doing the exact same thing. My mom saved the cradle from when my brother and I were a baby for us to use with our children. I love that so much.
If our little one is a boy, we're actually thinking of doing a puppy theme bedroom! Those blankets are precious...I spy them everytime I go to Target ;)
That cradle is so precious! I still have a desk my grandfather gave me when i was 5, it was out of his antique shop, but it means so much to me. We will be using it in our nursery.
