Forward Facing & an Apple Orchard

The day I have been dreading for quite some time was finally here this weekend. We turned Henry's car seat forward facing. I don't know why I have had such a hard time with this whole thing but I have had anxiety just thinking about doing it.

Well we did it...& actually it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I didn't cry & I cheered as he climbed in it for the first time.

He is officially my big boy now.

Yesterday we made our way out to a local apple orchard [it is the same one we took the boys to last year when they were we babies].

Holden loved- & I really mean loved- the apple cider.

Henry enjoyed some climbing as we waiting for our tractor/hay ride.

All of us...well minus my dad who is in Chicago visiting family & my other sister who had to work.

Poor Ryan couldn't hold Holden and reach over to the next face hole...haha.

We enjoyed some delicious apples...

Holden looked like this for a good 20 minutes :)

The boys liked the music...Holden kept walking right up to the stage.

We had a pretty good time- although we already decided we are going to find an orchard next year where we can actually walk through and pick our own apples. I did enjoy an apple donut this morning for breakfast and will be snacking on a cider oatmeal raisin cookie after lunch today!

Let's hope this was our last Sunday as a family of 4 :)
