I know what you're thinking..."Shut up Jenny, you have a three month old. Of course you're going to be tired!"
Well that's not exactly why we are so freaking tired. Sure, Hazel is still waking up once at night to eat- which isn't bad because Ryan has been taking that feeding for awhile now. But I still wake up when she starts to fuss. But Hazel isn't the problem.
It's Henry. My oldest, supposed to be sleeping all night, big boy. He has been potty trained for quite some time now- except at night. And lately we are involuntarily working on night time too I guess. He has been waking up at 4:30/5 every morning. He walks into our room [we took the gate off his door because he was climbing over it- not exactly safe when he was hoisting himself over by grabbing onto our 2nd story banisters. Like I had awful visions of him falling over as one of the banister things breaks- so we removed it] walks to Ryan's side of the bed and says he has to go potty. Of course, we don't tell him to just go in his Pull-Up because that would just erase all of our hard potty training work, so we bring him into the bathroom every morning half asleep.
Only he doesn't go back to sleep. We've tried everything to get him back to sleep. His bed, our bed, his floor, our floor, the couch, the hall [ok not the hall] he's awake. Wide awake. It doesn't matter when we put him to bed, he still wakes up at the same time to go to the bathroom.
We're tired. Very, very tired. Give me your best tricks of the trade to get our toddler back to bed after going to the bathroom. Pretty please :)

Ok I haven't been there (yet) but I know bright lights aid in waking anyone so maybe try a bright nightlight (enough to see by but not as bright as overhead ones) this way the shock of the light wouldn't wake him up more. It might be a crazy idea dealing with a toddler but just a thought.
I SO wish I could help, but I've got ZERO experience with this. Anxious to hear what others have to say - this will soon be my future too. Great job on not taking the easy way out and making him use the potty. You guys are a great team!
Is he crabby later on during the day?? Maybe he is just getting enough sleep and wants to be up for the day now. We had to cut out naps for Arianna because on days she took them, she was fighting bedtime until like 10 pm and not sleeping well at all once she did finally get to bed. It's been rough here too, haha.
If you find the answer please share. We are having the SAME problem with Gianna right now & it's driving me crazy. After she goes potty she wants to just throw a party in our room... ahhh!!!!!
sheesh i have no clue....my oldest is a SLEEP LOVER.........after she goes in the AM she practically jumps off the potty to get back to bed. My little one on the other hand just turned 2 and wakes up at the crack of dawn ready to party! We want to start potty training ....but Im worried how he will do waking to pee and if he will go back to sleep
Have you made him just go back to his bed and stay there? Will he stay?
When Dylan wakes early (anytime before 7) he knows he has to go back in his room and either go back to sleep or wait until it's time to get up.
I guess he's never really fought it. Good luck!
Maybe try bringing him to the bathroom (I have a frog Fisher Price training potty in my boys' room) before you go to bed -- I did that with one of my twins for quite a while to prevent the early morning wake up or a bedwetting incident, and it worked well. I would just pick him up, take off his pants, stick him on the potty and tell him to pee -- he would, and I would have him back in bed without him really waking up. Maybe give it a try!
You could try getting him up and making him go when Ryan is up with Hazel. He probably won't wake up fully so he may go right back down.
