Christmas Recap

So Christmas Eve was the night to tell my grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins about our little baby Renny. I made an ornament for my grandma that said "Great Grandma Rosen" on one side and the other said "Baby Semans Due in August 2009". Of course it was the first gift she grabbed and since we open gifts one at a time and it went oldest to youngest, it was the very first gift opened. She looked at it and smiled and showed it to everyone else asking if they saw what it said. It was great :)

Then it was time to tell Ryan's sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. Ryan's mom and I had it planned that she was going to get Ryan a new shovel and then she was going to get a little baby shovel to go with it, with a sign that said "Mommy and Daddy's Little Helper". It was the very last gift to get opened and Ryan had no idea. As soon as he got it open, Ryan's sister said "I knew it, I could tell you were different." I asked if it was because I look fat?!? We asked Lucabella who would use that little shovel and she said, "Me" and Ryan said, "If you didn't use it who would?" and she said, "Colin." He said, "No, ask Jenny who is going to have a baby." She looked at me with very wide eyes and said, "Are you going to have a baby?" I said yes. She was very excited.

They all went perfectly as planned. :)
