A number of people have asked me this question after we tell them that we are having a little boy. First I think it is a weird question to ask someone who has just told you the sex of their child and second...
I can honestly say no. I always thought that I wanted a little girl to dress up in frilly dresses and bows but from the moment I got pregnant with Henry, I just knew it was a boy and I was more than ok with that. When we saw his "boy parts" on the ultrasound I don't think I could have been more excited to be having a boy, my little boy. I can't wait to dress him up in puppies and baseball (his 2 favorite things:))...I can't wait to see him wrestle with his "older sisters", Agnes and Elloise...I can't wait to see my son and Ryan playing catch in our backyard...I can't wait to see him off to his first day of school...the list could go on and on. So no, I am not disappointed that I will not be having a girl this time around...I am so very happy to be having a beautiful little boy :)

Am I Disappointed?

I've actually had the opposite reactions. People say, "oh, your husband must be so excited!" It's as if they think he would be devastated if we were having a girl! Don't worry about other people, enjoy your little Henry!!
I had the same reaction from people. I felt the same as you in thinking I wanted a frilly little girl, but I am so excited to be having a little boy! I was amazed at the fact that people really asked that question.
