Well I haven't been much of a blogger lately..probably because I would much prefer to watching Henry sleep than sit in front of the computer but I thought I would just give an overall update as to what has been going on in the Semans household.
~Ryan has now started his post-Master's program to become a principal. He has classes on Monday nights and some Saturday mornings. It has been ok so far, it makes for long days for me but it will be totally worth it in 18 months :)
~Henry and I have finally settled into our daily routine and it has been awesome. There is nothing better than waking up to a smiling baby!
~I am heading back to work in a few weeks. I have very mixed feelings about it. I have never been a person who can just stay home and not work but it seems like now that our routine is set and he is much more active, I want to stay home. Not full time but part time would ideal. It will *fingers crossed* be my reality with baby #2!
~Henry's incision has officially healed and the scar is barely noticable. I still can't believe everything he had to go through.
~The pups are finally adjusted to having to share their time with Henry and they really seem to like him now. They love giving him sloppy kisses :)
~I have been somewhat infected with baby rabies. I always said I wanted my kids 2 or more years apart but there is a part of me that would have another baby now if I could and I really miss being pregnant--well minus being swollen and sore. Thankfully Ryan has been able to talk sense into me and we will be waiting a little while but hopefully not too long ;)
....And drum roll please....
~Henry is sleeping through the night (and still in his crib)!!! Woo hoo!! I don't want to jinx it but 8ish hours of sleep is pure heaven and oh so appreciated :) I have to admit that there were nights when Henry was going to be our first and last child but now being past all of that makes those unbearable nights totally worth it!
And just for fun, my adorable little bebe...
