For a number of reasons we have decided to put Henry in a new day care center 3 days a week. This is the same center both boys will be at once I return from maternity leave in late November.
Well today was/is Henry's first day. Drop off went really, really well. He had no problems going to say hi to his teacher and was crawling around on the floor by one of the other babies. He waved "bye-bye" to me and Ryan [I made him come with me:)] when we left. When I called an hour ago his teacher said, "He is having an awesome day and is currently taking a nap!"
I on the other hand...not so great. I instantly started bawling when we got into the car- which Ryan said was going to make him cry. I can't help but to feel sad...especially after our last day care lady experience last year.
I KNOW Henry will be fine and I KNOW this will be an awesome situation for our family but the mommy guilt has taken over yet again. It will get better as we get used to our new routine but for the time being...pass the Kleenex my way!

Hold up Mommy, I bet its hard.Its ok to cry to. At least the daycare lady said that he was having an amazing day. I bet that makes you feel a little better. Just think your a little closer to seeing him.

OMG! What a cute 'cheese' face! Such a little ham!
I can't imagine how hard that would be! But Henry will be fine... sounds like he had a great first day :)
And don't you love the babies cheese face?? He is so cute! Gianna's cheese face is my fave.
The first few days are the worst. It will get better. Keep your head up.
