all the way to K-Mart. When you're there, cut your hair and shove it down your underwear.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself :) I have no idea why as kids we ever sang that song but we did & now I think of it anytime I hear the word art. Haha.
Ok on with this post...I have always envisioned my house filled with framed art from my kids as they grow. Before this weekend, we had none.
So on my lunch break on Friday I ran to Target to load up on some art supplies to make some gorgeous baby art. I picked up four matted frames [$20/each- I'm sure I could have found them cheaper somewhere else but I didn't care enough to shop around], some washable finger paint [$4.99] and an art pad [$4.99].
My mom and sister came over to help with our painting adventure. We laid down an old sheet in our kitchen area, stripped down to diapers & got to work...
Holden got a wee bit cold so we put an old t-shirt on him. How adorable is my little artist?!?

Henry did an AWESOME job painting by himself. He thought it was pretty awesome that he could paint his legs and feet :)

We framed them up and Ryan hung them [while me & the boys supervised] :)

So for around $100 we made some pretty neat [& priceless] art.
I have another kid art wall idea that I hope to bring to life in the very near future & will be sure to post about it :)
Happy Wednesday!!Oh & Holden is still doing much better. We did give him a neb treatment this morning because he was wheezing a bit but overall he is wonderful!
