A little catch up

I feel like I'm always playing catch up but we've been quite busy and frankly I'm just tired.

We had a great Thanksgiving- even though it was our first big holiday without my dad. It wasn't as traumatic as I was anticipating but I think hosting & chasing kids helped with that.

We made cute hand & foot turkey shirts the night before-  of course my crafty-mom guilt set it around noon on Wednesday when I realized we made turkey shirts last year and I had totally neglected it this year. So after a quick stop at JoAnns and with Ryan's help we made some pretty cute shirts :)

Then on Friday, Hazel & I were on our way to Chicago to visit my dad's side of the family for the weekend. It was also the first time I had been there since both my dad and aunt have been gone. Emotional is a good way to describe it.

But Hazel did great on the plane and loved the visit. Although we both crashed at 6:30 & 7:30 when we got home yesterday :)

We have also had some exciting news in regards to H4. Our sweet babe looks perfectly healthy and is grown right on track!!

Oh & we shared our gender news with our families over Thanksgiving weekend. It was a good excuse for me to get my rear in gear when it came to our Christmas decorations!!

Yup! H4 is another boy!!!!

I'll admit that I'm a bit bummed Hazel won't have a sister [ummm H5, anyone?? LOL] but we love having a house full of crazy boys so I'm sure Hampton will fit right in with his older brothers!! March can't get here soon enough!!
