So I have my 33 week check-up today...I have gained 6 pounds in the last 4 weeks which puts me up a total of about 24 pounds **insert blank stare**. Yikes. I explained my worry to the dr who said he was very happy with how much I have gained and told me not to worry about it at all. Ok so I won't then :)
Then it was time to measure my belly...to which he says, "Oh you are measuring on the big side, how much did you weigh when you were born?" **insert another blank stare** to which I said, "About 7 pounds". He then informed me that I am probably going to have a big baby. Awesome.
We then talked about where I was feeling him kick and I told him that I am pretty sure he is still breech since I can feel his gigantic head up in my ribs all day long. He confirmed after painfully feeling around my stomach. The dr said at the next appt (about 35/36 weeks) that if Henry is still breech we will either talk about scheduling a c-section or trying to manually turn him. I asked a little more about the manual turn and he didn't seem too keen on the idea...he said it only works about 60% of the time, the baby can flip right back to breech, it is very painful and the baby can go into distress and you can end up with an emergency c-section. Doesn't sound very fun to me. Ryan and I will have to talk a little more about which route we want to go- I can see the pros and cons to both. And heck, Henry may decide to flip his big 'ol body around in the next 2 weeks.
So that is that...we have appts every 2 weeks from here on out and I can't wait for our son to be here :)

Sounds like we might both have big boys! I hope Henry flips - I hear external version is not fun!
