Henry has had a cough on and off pretty much all winter. We had taken him to the dr previously and they said it was just a cold- well Thursday and Friday of last week his cough had progressively gotten much worse & he was wheezing all day. Finally when Ryan got home from work on Friday I told him we need to take Henry in.
We headed to Urgent Care where they determined that Henry has bronchiolitis, which can be fairly common- especially in the winter/spring months. Thankfully the RSV test came back negative.
So Henry experienced his first nebulizer (see pic below) and we headed home with some meds that will hopefully stop his wheezing & icky cough.

Ugh, we were in the hospital last weekend with our little one. He too had broncholitas and was negative for rsv and swine flu thankfully. We are on the nebulizer for another week or so with treatments. take care.
We were just in and out of the hospital the few weeks with the same thing. Our 7 month old had Bronchiolitis and RSV...It was scary and the nebulizer wasn't helping. We ended up having to take her in and get steriod shots in her legs to open her lungs up. It was scary...and lasted 3 weeks! Hopefully you guys have much better luck :)
