Back to work.

As of yesterday at 8am, I rejoined the cool kid's club of working moms. & I have to admit that it wasn't nearly as bad this time around.

I remember bawling when I left Henry last year and now this year I brough the kids to day care and walked out without a tear. Am I sad? Yes. But I trust his center 100% and after seeing their love for Henry and watching him grow, learn and love there...I am nothing less than excited for Holden to experience the same things.

Speaking of Henry and school, he is fully transitioned into the toddler room and is doing so awesome. He walks into school holding my hand, helps me take off his hat and jacket, walks into his classroom, gives me a hug & kiss, tells me "I you" (his version of I love you) and waves at me as he walks to play with his little friends. My baby is becoming a big boy and it is seriously the most amazing thing to watch. He has so much confidence and a newly found independence but still loves us and runs to us when we pick him up. He is becoming the little boy we always wanted to raise. Nothing short of amazing.

& Holden is doing really awesome as well. He is still getting used to all the noise of the other kids but he gets plenty of attention from his teachers [must be his dimples :)]. Last night he was so sleepy after school that he slept through us taking him out of his car seat, getting him undressed and his entire bath. He did wake up as Ryan was putting his jammies on him. :)

I am hoping to get back into the swing of things and pick up my blogging as I have been a bit of a slacker lately.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving :)

I'm glad the trasition was good for you (and your boys)! Because you know Henry benefits so much from "school" it makes it that much easier for Holden. I work sparingly on a contract basis (neighbor watches the daughter) but if I go back to work more permanently G might start at a center too. I'd love to know how you picked yours!

Good to hear it's easier the second time around, I had horrible anxiety the whole first week back! I bet you'll have more time for blogging now that you're back to work! ;)
