Aside from watching the Viking lose, we [and by we I mean "I"] got some goodies ready for Henry's big transition to the toddler room at school. He has been visiting the last few weeks to get him used to the kids and teachers and what will be a bit of new found freedom.
So I made him an extra special, cuddly blanket & pillow for sleeping on his cot [yeah a cot, my baby sleeping on a cot].
& while at Target we decided to get him a potty. No, we aren't potty training yet but we want to reinforce the potty at home since in the toddler room they will be practicing sitting on the potty.
Did you know they have singing potties?!? Well they do & we decided on a simple potty because we won't be playing with it. I don't think a place where one does their business should be like a toy. Here it is in all it's glory :)
& tomorrow marks my last full week of maternity leave...where have the last 12 weeks gone?!? I am going to soak up every second, tantrums included!

You're right! I bought a singing potty b/c it was cute and when I give it to her she is totally going to try and play with it. What the hell was I thinking?! Maybe I should run all my purchases by you from now on.
Good job on the pillow & blanket! 12 weeks goes by so quickly....it's never long enough.
Oh geez....my mom just bought our daughter a singing potty! Oh no! I didn't even think about that. I just thought it would make it fun and interesting for her in the beginning. Maybe we will have to get two potties!
