Mama??

So I am woken up this morning at 5:45am [my alarm is set for 6- boo Ryan!!] to Ryan shoving the baby monitor into my face saying, "Look at Henry". I look and my wee baby boy is sitting up in his crib just playing around trying to pull himself up to standing [which he has never done before- yay Henry!!]. Oh that is all cute and dandy but did I really need to be woken up for that?!?!

Well a few seconds later Ryan turned the sound on & I swear I hear the most joyous thing in the entire world. Henry is saying....::drum roll please::.... "mama mama mama"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it & I swear that is what I heard- Ryan even said he thinks that is what he was saying! He has been saying "dada" for quite some time now & I have been just dying for him to say "mama". I am, after all, the one who housed him for over 9 months and brought him into this world...is it too much to ask that his first word be "mama"?!?! [I'm not bitter at all...LOL]

So anyways Ryan goes and gets him from him crib and we snuggle in bed for a little bit. When we are both fully awake I was trying to get him to say it again but no such luck. Maybe tonight when I get home from work. :)
