A Mother's Instinct is Never Wrong

When I was pregnant with Henry...I KNEW it was a boy. He sure is :)

When Henry was 4 weeks old and violently throwing up after every feeding...I KNEW something was wrong even though everyone around me was saying it was normal. 2 days later he was diagnosed with & had surgery for pyloric stenosis.

This winter when Henry was coughing and coughing...I KNEW something wasn't right and it wasn't a cold. Sure enough he had bronchiolitis.

When I become pregnant with Holden...I KNEW it was another boy. He sure is :)

And this weekend when we took Henry to urgent care and the "dr" said Henry had an ear infection and dismissed his cough & wheezing...I KNEW it wasn't right. Sure enough I was right yet again...

I took Henry to see his pedi this morning because his cough & wheezing was getting worse over the last 2 days. He looks into Henry's ears and said they both look great- no sign of any infection whatsoever. He did say it could have cleared up in the last day or so but it was very unlikely. He listened to his lungs and could hear the wheezing [the "dr" at urgent care said there was no sound in his lungs]. We did a nebulizer treatment in the office and were sent home with an at home one to try and clear all this coughing & wheezing.

SO glad I followed my instinct...I'm sure Henry will appareciate it too once he is feeling better :)

Same thing happened to my baby - Carson. We went to an ER and they said that he didn't need a nebulizer and then I took him to the ped and she put him on one right away and it helped him SO much. DAMN that RSV!
