My poor baby Henry has had a pretty high fever all week :( I chalk it up to teething but the doctor seems to think he has some kind of throat virus as his throat is pretty red.
I am back to work today after spending Monday & Tuesday snuggling with my little sickie. There is nothing scarier than seeing the thermometer reach over 104 degrees while taking his temp under his arm. Of course I was a crying mess because my poor baby has just been burning up.
Thankfully today it was much lower...let's just hope he is on the mend so we don't have to use the dr appt I made for Friday.
I will say there has been one postive thing that has come from Henry being sick...he has shown me that I really am the only one who can make him feel better. I have had struggles with being a working mom & not knowing if Henry knows that I am his mom & not really needing me. Well since Saturday I have been the only one who he will snuggle up with. He would actually cry pretty hard as soon as someone else tried to hold him & the second he was back in my arms he stopped and snuggled right in.

It must be going around because I was home with Olivia Monday and Tuesday with a temp of 104. Very scary!! Glad to hear you got some good snuggles in!
It's always so sad to see them sick. I know that feeling though when they are upset and only want you to hold them. It almost makes the boo boo worth it*ALMOST*
I hope he continues to get better!
Ooohh! Poor sweet boy :( Hope he feels better soon.
Yikes. I have yet to see the thermometer hit 104 for my 11 month old, but I know how I feel when it goes past 102..Scary. Get well soon Henry!
I'm sorry he had a fever but I wanted to say that first pic of his head on your pregnant belly is so precious.
