Well we started on Henry's big boy baseball room this weekend...we didn't get quite as far as I would have liked but we got a pretty good start on it.
Ryan's dad painted the accent wall for us...he is the BEST edger around :)
I started my first of many projects for Henry's room...baseball lanterns. I was so excited when I thought of this idea & I am loving how they turned out...can't wait to get the hung in Henry's room!! [I had to have the baseball expert (Ryan) help me with the outline shapes] :)
We got Henry a cute little toy organizer...
Our original plan was to drop Henry's orginal crib to it's lowest setting & then get a crib rail to keep him in...well the rail we bought is just for matresses with box springs so we will have to do a bit more searching. Henry is a little pro getting out of the bed...he scoots to the edge...rolls onto him tummy and slowly inches down until his feet hit the ground...it's so cute!
We hope to get the rest of the room put together this week so Henry can start transitioning into his new room within the next few weeks!

Those baseball lanterns are awesome! Such a great idea.
Love it! The baseball lanterns are so cute!! I cannot wait to see the finished product!!
By the way let me know how the transition goes... our 2nd will be here in 4 weeks, but will be in our room in the pack n play for a little while, but I am hoping our now 15 month old will transition smoothly! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! :)
The baseball lanterns are a great idea! He's going to have a super cute big boy room.
We transitioned oldest into his big boy room at 15 months old. We bought a toddler bed and put it along the same wall as his crib in his room. Once he was used to it we moved his toddler bed into his new room. When he got used to that we moved him to the regular full size bed that is in his big boy room. All went smooth with no problems. He was settled in his room long before his little brother came when he was 20 months!!
Those lanterns came out great!
I l-o-v-e the lanterns! I cannot wait to see the finished product!
How cute are the baseball lights!
His room looks adorable! I love that baseball lantern idea
I just found your blog off of someone else's blogroll. I must say it's amazing how much we have in common, lol! I believe we live in the same state, love baseball--my son's name is Henry (1 year next week), my husband's name is Ryan, and my name is Jenna. You can check out my blog if you're interested. Congrats on the new baby! Love the baseball room!
