Henry- The Daycare Angel

Everyday we pick up Henry from his classroom...everyday his teacher tell us, "He had another awesome day!"...everyday he starts screaming the second we get him into the car & it continues on & off for the rest of the night.

My mom says the same thing...he is perfectly perfect for her and the second we come to get him, he's a totally different child.

I get that kids totally play their parents and know what they can and can't get away with & are usually on their best behavior when they aren't around their parents. But COME ON- we sing songs, we color, we chase each other around the house, we dance to Mickey Mouse- what gives??? We need to see our happy little boy for more than just a couple minute glimpses here & there....we are at a total loss. Any advice/experiences/comments of sympathy would be appreciated. :)

I hope everyone has an awesome weekend.

Oh & be totally jealous ladies...I have a hot [blind] date with 2 super awesome fellow bloggers this weekend- Jeannie & Bethany! There is sure to be a picture overload on Sunday after our GTG with our hubbies and kidlets :)

Ummm...I'd like to hear some advice too!! I'm home with our daughter a lot, but I work part time. Whenever she goes to the babysitter for the day she is "so wonderful and happy all day" and then when we get her home she is whiny and screaming most of night! What gives?

I wish I had advise and since I don't, I'll give you some sympathy. I know that my Henry can really be a different kid around my hubbs and I seperatley, but I think thats just playing parent against parent.

CAN'T WAIT for Sunday!!!

We are right there with you too. We hear 'perfect day, perfect baby!' from daycare 99% of the time. The minute we are home, Olivia is a whiney mess. Oy! At least we are not alone.

Yay!!! Looking forward to Sunday!!

I don't know the answer to that but I bet when little H gets big enough to play with Henry more, he may be better at home? Who knows? Hope he's happy for you this weekend!

We are going through this exact same thing with our 18 month old. During the week I think she is crabby once she gets home because she is exhausted from playing all day and having her halo on at daycare... Is Henry the same way on the weekends? Alexa is at times, but again I think its because she just knows she can get away with it with us.

Oh so feel your pain! We hear the same things from my kid's teachers (son 4, daughter 3) everyday. "They are great wonderful listeners," then when we get home all the craziness comes out and they are OBSESSED with annoying each other (in turn annoying us). Throw in a teething 8 month old and you get a chaotic household.
You are so not alone :)
