Henry's Birthday Invites.

First, how is the world is it possible that one month from today my wee baby boy is going to be TWO years old!?!? :(

But anyways...his party is in 3 weeks. Up until last night, all of his invitation supplies were sitting in our office. So I figured I should probably get moving or else no one will be able to make it...haha.

I had seen these invites on multiple websites & knew I had to make them and as it turns out they were pretty darn easy!

The supplies were pretty minimal & I hit a sale at JoAnn's so it ended up being less expensive than if I had ordered a digital invite & printed them.




I found a Mickey head template online & used that for the head shape. The tracing & cutting was probably the most time consuming but in reality it wasn't too bad. It was NOTHING compared to last year's invites!




I used 3 little Zots to attach the red "pants" part.




& 2 more Zots to attach the buttons [I used real buttons].




Cut out the actual invite part & ta da!





I don't know why I have it in my head that I have to make their invites every year- & I usually am kicking myself as I sit down to make them but as soon as they are done, I am SO glad I took the time to do it. Even if the boys don't know/appreciate it, it's my way of making their special day just a little more special :)
